In 1984, a tragedy struck Aurangabad—an incident so heartbreaking that it shattered a family and orphaned four young children. Amidst the grief and sorrow, a visionary leader, Mr. Zulfeqar Husain, chose to act. Moved by their plight and the silent struggles of countless others, he founded Faiz E Aam Trust, a beacon of hope for the poor and destitute, regardless of their religion or background.
What began as an urgent response to despair has since grown into a lifeline of opportunity. With a firm belief in dignity, empowerment, and self-sufficiency, the Trust has evolved over the decades, building 15 dedicated corpuses to support education, healthcare, and rehabilitation programs.
One of our key missions is to offer scholarships to deserving students, helping them rise above financial hardship and pursue their dreams. Many of these students, inspired by the Trust’s generosity, have come full circle—achieving success and becoming active contributors to the very cause that changed their lives.
Our Impact:
The Trust began with support from philanthropists, industrialists, friends, and relatives who shared Mr. Zulfeqar Husain’s vision. Notably, Mr. Zulfeqar also involved the Bombay Mercantile Co-op Bank (where he served as a Director) to contribute to the cause.
Healthcare Initiatives
One of our significant achievements is the rural hospital at Kagzipura, located 15 kilometers from Aurangabad. Originally initiated with the support of the Bombay Mercantile Co-op Bank, the hospital is now fully managed by the Trust and has grown into a 30-bed facility. It includes many modern facilities such as, X-Ray Services; Sonography; Pathology Laboratory.
The hospital provides treatment at a nominal cost to ensure accessibility for everyone. In 2009-2010 alone, the hospital served 16,367 patients, reflecting our commitment to improving rural healthcare.
At Faiz E Aam Trust, we believe that every life matters. Whether it’s a child striving for education, a family seeking medical care, or a community in need of hope, we are here to help rebuild lives.
Together, we can transform tragedy into triumph.
Together, we can make a difference.
